The founder's story

Radek Pilař is 190 cm tall and spent his whole life looking for clothes that fit. T-shirts from shops were either too short or too wide. After returning from a trip around America, he decided to sew a simple elongated T-shirt from natural cotton himself. Together with Czech seamstresses, he spent months fine-tuning it, from the neckline and the length to the subtle logo. That one T-shirt grew into a brand with a capsule wardrobe for tall men and women.

"I'm not complaining about my height, quite the opposite. I just wanted clothes I don't have to keep pulling down. I have everything you'll find in our store in my own wardrobe." — Radek Pilař, founder of TallGuys
